He still chooses you

God sent His Son to earth for me and you. Let’s reflect on this: what this weekend entails.

Jesus was betrayed. Freely.
Freely captured, whipped, mocked, and killed.

Two very long nights passed.

Then, early Sunday morning… guess what?

He rose!!

But He didn’t just go back to heaven quietly.
He stayed on earth and talked to the women and then to the disciples. And 500 some people saw Him.

That’s the God I serve.
The One who has all the facts and proof, who could have gotten up and left… but He stays and chooses us.

Even after the cross.
Even after the pain.
Even after being rejected.

He stayed.
And He still chooses you today. 💛
